This application is designed to work with a small circuit. To make it work, you need a .5-to-5v power supply, a small coin, a variable-capacity metal detector, and some standard surface plates.
How does the application work?
To use it, you need to hold the device close to the object to be detected. As the object gets closer, the frequency of the magnetic field changes. This way, the app detects the changes in the magnetic field and provides the information about the metal.
